Public Hearing Regarding FY26 EPA Clean-up Grant
In January 2026, per program requirements, Ball & Socket Arts will be hosting an in-person public comment session on the Draft FY26 Application to Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Brownfields Cleanup Grant.
In winter 2026, Ball & Socket Arts is applying for an EPA Cleanup Grant to remediate facilities in Building 1, located at 493 West Main Street, Cheshire, Connecticut. As part of the application process, Ball & Socket Arts will host a meeting to solicit public input on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 5 PM. The meeting will be located at Ball & Socket Arts on 493 West Main Street, Cheshire CT in the Workshop Gallery. There is ample on-site parking available in our rear lot.
A copy of the draft application and draft Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) will be available for review by appointment at Ball & Socket Arts office in Building 3, 493 West Main Street Cheshire, Connecticut from December 19th to January 2nd, 2026. Public comments can also be received via email at info(at)ballandsocket.org by January 2nd as well (please title your email: EPA Brownfields Public Comment).
