Public Art

Surprising, delight-inducing, accessible public art is central to Ball & Socket Arts’ vision. The Artcade in front of Building 2’s entrance ramp features a revolving set of exceptional large-scale commissioned works of art on-view 24/7 for all to enjoy. Arcy’s colorful mural (our first commission) now graces Building 1 near the entrance to the Linear Trail. Our public engagement project for 2024: The Assembly Line is our most ambitious of the series and features 32 linear feet of collage created by participants at organizations and partners all around Cheshire with our lead artist, Rashmi. You’ll also find our Residents sneaking around the factory. Our 2023/2024 Artcade series was supported by Connecticut Community Foundation and Ion Bank Foundation.
