This year, Evening About Town is being held on Thursday, August 14th. We are looking forward to seeing you all there!

Here are some useful facts to start us off:

LOCATION:

Still top secret

The location will be revealed on August 13th at 5:00pm, one day before the event.

We are so excited about this location which is also a very important historical site in town, run by a local organization with whom we share many core values.

FOOD AND WINE:

Your dinner will be provided at no additional cost. This year we will be partnering with Seasonal Catering out of Milford, CT.  We are super excited to try out this new vendor and treat you to some tasty, fresh entrees. You will have a selection of meals to select from, ordered in advance, so please make sure to respond to that request when it arrives in your inbox in a week or so!

We will be offering a wine pull again this year! It's proven to be a big hit in the past - you can purchase a surprise bottle to drink during dinner or take home at the end of the night. We will also be offering house wines to purchase that evening, pre-chilled whites, roses and also reds. No surprises there and ready to drink! 

In the past, we have a encouraged BYOB and bringing your own foods. You absolutely may do that again if you wish, but you will definitely be well provided for by our organization.

DRESS CODE:

Please dress festively and comfortably. There is no recommendation on dress, but we will be at an outdoor location and the ground is grass and uneven in areas. Please wear sensible shoes.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN:

As in previous years, we will have live music and plein air artists working at the event. The evening culminates in a live auction and paddle raise to support Ball & Socket Arts programming and operations. This event is one of the ways we get to keep doing what we've been doing and we are so grateful to all who support us!
