What is Evening in White all about?

Cheshire’s Evening in White was inspired by the worldwide phenomenon "Le Dîner en Blanc" where guests dressed all in white gather for a pop-up picnic in a beautiful, open-air location revealed to them only at the last moment. Our inaugural Evening in White was held on an historic and beautiful farm in Cheshire where over 100 friends, both new and old were transported to a simpler time and an enchanted evening.

Where is it located?

Evening in White is certainly “veiled in some secrecy”. The event is meant to bring the community together for an enchanting evening, in a secret location, to celebrate old and new friends and support a great cause. Guests will be told “where to park” closer to the event and you will be transported to/from the secret location.

What is included for my $100 ticket fee?

An entry to the event and a raffle entry for an All-Inclusive 7-night trip to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana with First Class airfare from JFK for 2 people.

Is my $100 ticket fee tax deductible?

Your ticket purchase is 100% tax deductible.

Will there be food and beverages?

Ideally, we encourage people to bring a picnic dinner but we are offering a catered box dinner for purchase, specific details will be emailed to you after you have registered for the event. Some limited beverages will be offered at the event.

What should I expect at the event?

In addition to providing the magical location, we will have entertainment through the evening, an Arts related Silent Auction, along with other surprises.

What should I bring besides my own picnic dinner and beverages?

Attendees are just asked to bring their sense of enthusiasm to celebrate the summer, community, nature and the arts to enjoy all that will unfold for them during the evening.

What should I wear?

All guests should dress in white/summer whites and wear sensible shoes for a small walk in the outdoors.

What will be done with the money raised at this event?

All net proceeds from Evening in White will benefit the Ball & Socket Arts. You can read more about the entire project and vision by visiting www.ballandsocket.org

Can I bring my kids?

This is an adult-friendly event. There is no reduced price for children.
